CSI partner Sirona Cares Foundation tells its story through Executive Director Michelle Lacourciere. The foundation encourages people to create business from sustainable energy. Small franchises, located across the countryside where there is no electricity, give people the power to create, use and sell alternative energy.
This video also showcases a mobile solar charging station, called the SunBlazer. The unit is so robust that in three hours residents have power that will last three to seven days. Each SunBlazer will supply enough electricity to light up to 83 homes in one community.
